² Harry’s POV ²

“Welcome, Harry. To Diagon Alley.” Hagrid said, I looked up, and it was a busy street.

Hagrid grins broadly as we three, step into the street and walk around. An owl screeches.

“Here's where you'll get your quills and ink, and over there, all your bits and bobs for doing your wizardry.” Hagrid points in every shop.

I'm amazed as we pass by shops and owls and bats. We saw some group of boys crowding¹ around at the window of a store.

“It's a world-class racing broom. Look at it; it's the new Nimbus 2000! It's the fastest² model yet.”

“I'm thinking³ of having a broom to soon, Harry, but unfortunately, we first year's aren't allowed⁴ to have yet. The uncles' and aunts'- I mean, the professors said that I could only⁵ have a broom of I join the Quidditch.” Danny said.

“What's a Quidditch?” I asked.

“Merlin me, you don't know?!- oh wait, yeah, of course, you won't know, sorry about that. Forgot you lived in the muggle world.” She apologized.

“No, it's okay.” We three keeps walking, and finally, I thought of something.

“But, Hagrid, how am I to pay for all this? I haven't any money.” I looked up at Hagrid.

“Well, there's your money, Harry. Gringotts, the Wizard Bank. T'aint no place safer, 'cept perhaps Hogwarts.”

We walked inside the bank; it was shiny aisle passing tiny creatures working.

“Uh, what exactly are those things?”

“They are goblins, Harry.” Danny whispered.

“Clever as they come goblins but not most friendly of beast. Best stick close to us.” I stick closer to them, especially Danny; she giggled at my reaction because⁶ I didn't notice that I grip her hand.

Hagrid clears his throat as⁷ we approach a counter with a goblin in it. “Mr. Harry Potter wishes to make a withdrawal.”

“And also Danny Dumbledore.” Danny said beside me.

“I apologize, but I don't think there's a person who's⁸ named Danny Dumbledore.” The goblin said.

“But grandfather told me to get⁹ some golds here, he even gave me a paper and key, he told me that the key has been¹⁰ with me since I was young, my parents left it.” She took a letter out from her pocket and a key and handed it to the goblin.

“Hmm...” The goblin read the letter and nodded.

“And does Mr. Harry Potter have his key?”

“Oh. Wait a minute, got it here somewhere. Here's the little devil.” He pulled out a key and gave it to the goblin.

“Oh, and there's something else as well. Professor Dumbledore gave me this letter too; it's about you-know-who-what in the vault you-know-which.” He handed him the letter as well.

“Very well.”

² Danny’s POV ²

Racing down the depth caverns in a cart, the cart stops, the goblin, Griphook, chambers out.

“Vault 666, lamp, please.” Hagrid hands him the lamp, and he walks to the vault.

“Key, please.” I handed him the key, and he unlocks it.

The room is filled all over the place, it until the top with golds and there are some coins, thousands and millions of coins along with golds, jewelry and many more.

There is even a sword, a crown, and a shield - many things in the room.

“This is the largest room we have in here.” The goblin, Griphook, said.

“Blimey, Danny, your parents left you a lot.” I heard Hagrid whisper.

“Come on, get some gallons now.” Hagrid smiled. I did what I was told.

I took two-sack and filled it with the gallons also bronze knuts, and silver sickles just in case.

“Aren't ya taking too much?” I heard Harry mumbled.

“It's a secret; I want to buy some stuff in the future. Just in case.” I grin.

I got up, and we went back to the cart, and it started moving¹¹ again then stopped.

“Vault 687. Lamp, please.” I handed the lamp this time to him.

“Key, please.” Hagrid hands him Harry's key, and he unlocks it.

The room is filled nearly top to bottom with coins; I looked to Harry, who is amazed by this, even me actually.

“Didn't think your mum and dad would leave you with nothing, now didja?” Hagrid whispered to Harry.

“Wow, Harry! Come on! Put some coins on the sack! Then after this, we can buy the things we have to purchase.” I grind, I'm excited to¹² buy my things.

But grandfather told me that I don't need a wand, I already have one. I just have to get it to grandfather Ollivander.

We walked instead because I was getting dizzy from the cart and continued; we are about to get something else. I have no idea what it was, they never told me about it.

“Vault 713.” We finally arrived.

“Whats in the Hagrid?” Harry asked.

“Yeah, what is it, uncle? Is it something unusual? Or deadly?” I asked I am very curious about it, and it makes me excited¹³.

“I can't tell both of you; it's Hogwarts business. Very secret.” Uncle Hagrid muttered.

“Stand back.” He slides his finger down the door; it makes some 'clank, clank' noise. The vault opens to expose a small white stone package.

Uncle Hagrid hurries in and scoops it up.

“Best not to mention this to anyone, Harry and even you Danny.” Both of us nodded.

² Harry’s POV ²

Hagrid and I walked in the street, we have bought all the things we need.

Danny went to get her robes; she said she would meet with us.

“Um, I still need... a wand.” I read the paper and check the list the I needed.

“A wand? Well, you'll want Ollivanders. No place better. Run along there, but wait. I just got one more thing I got to do. Won't be long, oh, and tell Danny if she comes back, tells her I have to do some business.” Hagrid smiles and left.

I went to the store quietly. I looked around, there are shelves of wands, but no people.

² Danny’s POV ²

I went to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions to get my robes.

“Hello? Is anyone here?” I looked around, and it was quite. No one is in here; I think I should-

“Yes, someone is here.” I jumped a bit and turned around; I saw a kid who seems like the same age as me sitting on one of the chairs.

He has a sleek, white-blond hair, cold grey eyes. I noticed how i turned¹⁴ towards him and saw my appearance; I saw a small smile in his face.

“Are you here to get fitted too?” He stood up from his chair and walked towards me.

I nodded, “but not really, well, I already did I just need to fetch my robes.” I beamed.

“Ah, I see. Hogwarts too?” He asked, I nodded once again, and he smiled brightly.

“Me too! I'm sure I'll get into Slytherin house. My family has been in Slytherin for all years.” He smirked.

I gave him a 'not-bad' look, “well, I don't really mind which house I will be set to, but I want my house to put me into a wonderful future.”

“Hmm, but I hope you won't be in Gryffindor, though.” He mumbled.

“And why is that? Is there something wrong, being a Gryffindor?” I raised my eyebrows; I have friends who are in Gryffindor.

I don't want them to get insulted; I love my friends. They are precious to me.

“Nothing, nothing.” He shook his head; then silence took over us. But good thing Madam Malkin came.

“Alright, your robes are ready- sweetheart, you're here already, and this is yours, child. Darling, wait for me, okay? I'll go get your robes.” She handed the grey eye kid his robes and went back to get something again.

“Well, I have my robes now. I have to go; my mother is probably looking for me now. Goodbye.” After that, he left.

“Oh, wait, he didn't even introduce himself! How rude- wait, I didn't even introduce either... Oh, well.” I shrugged.

“Sweetheart, here's your robes. Good luck on your Hogwarts journey.” Madam Malkin pinches my cheeks, i bid her goodbye and went to grandpa Ollivander shop to check on Harry.

“Hello? Oh, hey, Harry!” I saw Harry jumped because he broke the vase, which blows apart¹⁵ and hurriedly placed the wand back to the counter.

“No, no, definitely not! No matter...” Grandpa Ollivander went off again to the back to grab some wand.

“Have you got a wand yet?” I asked, but he shook his head as a no.

“Oh.” That's all I can say, but then grandpa Ollivander came back with a box.

“I wonder, oh, and hello Danny.” He smiles at me and then gave the wand to Harry.

Once Harry held the wand, it glows under it. “Curious, very curious.”

“Sorry, but what's curious,” Harry asked.

“I remember every wand I've ever sold, Mr. Potter. It just so happens that the Phoenix, whose tail feather resides in your wand, gave one other feather, just one. It is curious that you should be destined for this was when its brother gave you that scar.” He pointed at Harry's scar.

“And... Who owned that wand?” Harry asked, I looked at them baffled.

“Oh, we do not speak his name. The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It's not always clear why, but i think it is clear that we can expect great things from you. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things... Terrible, yes, but great.” He hands Harry his wand.

“And Danny, are you here also to get your wand?” Grandpa Ollivander looked at me and smiled.

“Oh, nope. Grandfather told me that I already have one, I had it since I was a baby.” Harry looked at me, confused; I glanced at him and shrugs.

“Ah, yes, yes. I did remember him telling¹⁶ me that, also heard that, the wand is very mysterious and dangerous.” He looked at me in the eyes.

“Then, it will be fun.” I smiled. Harry stared at me, shocked.

“What?”

“Nothing.”

But then we heard a knock on the window, “Danny! Harry, happy birthday!” He was holding¹⁷ two cages, one with snowy owl and the other one was a great horned owl,

For a moment, I saw my owl's eyes turned red. After what I saw, I know I will like this owl.

“Wow.”

² Harry’s POV ²

“You all right, Harry? You seem very quiet.” Hagrid asked.

“He killed my parents, didn't he? The one who gave me this. You know, Hagrid, I know you do.” I said.

Hagrid sighs and pushes the bowl away, I looked at Danny who is playing with the owls and feeding them.

“First, and understand this, Harry. 'Cause it's very important. Not all wizards are good. Some of them go bad.-” but he was cut off by Danny.

“But some of them have reasons, some of them didn't want to be bad or born to be bad, some of them got no choice.” She stared at us and sighs; she went back playing with the owls.

“Anyway, a few years ago, there was one wizard who went as bad as you can go. And his name was V-... His name was V-...”

“Maybe if you can, write it down?” I suggested.

“No, I can't spell it. All right. His name was Voldermort.” he whispered his name.

“Voldermort?” I said a bit too loud.

“Ssshh!” I looked around.

“It was dark times, Harry, dark times. Voldemort started to gather some followers, brought 'em over to the dark side. Anyone that stood up to him ended up dead. Your parents fought him, but nobody lived once he decided to kill 'em. Nobody... Not one, except you.”

“Me? Voldemort tried to kill... Me?” I stared at him, surprised.

“Yes, that man ain't no ordinary cut on your forehead, Harry. A mark like that only comes from being touched by a curse... And an evil curse at that.”

“What happened to Vo-... to You-Know-Who?” I asked.

“Some say he died. Codswallop, in my opinion, nope. I reckon he's out there, still, too tired to go on. But one thing's absolutely certain. Something about you stumped him that night, that's why youre famous, Harry. That's why everybody knows your name, youre the boy who lived.” Hagrid said.

“But... Before he went slaughtering everybody, he found out that there's lived an infant who was born with magical abilities that everyone felt the child aura once she appeared in the world. That offspring has proficiency that no one can believe, that child is a godsend... So You-Know-Who attempted to look for that child while¹⁸ he slays people so¹⁹ he can claim that innocent infant. No one is even convinced if²⁰ that baby was a human or deity or even real, the energy was precisely, extremely, great.” I noticed how Hagrid would glance at Danny every second.

Is she the child he's talking about? Is she the miracle child? The child who was Voldermort after to? The child he tried to claim?

“Hagrid, where is that child now?” I asked.

“Oh... We-we do-do n-not kn-ow.” He tried not to look at, me not Danny.
