B. NGỮ PHÁP (GRAMMARS)
1. So sánh hơn với tính từ ngắn và dài (Comparative Adjectives)
- Cấu trúc:
- Tính từ ngắn: adj + -er + than
- Tính từ dài: more + adj + than
- Cách dùng:
Dùng để so sánh hai đối tượng. - Ví dụ:
- Cats are quieter than dogs.
→ (Mèo yên tĩnh hơn chó) - Dogs are more loyal than cats.
→ (Chó trung thành hơn mèo)
- Cats are quieter than dogs.
2. Câu hỏi Yes/No với động từ “to be” và “do”
- Cấu trúc:
- Are/Is + S + …?
- Do/Does + S + V…?
- Ví dụ:
- Are cats better pets than dogs?
→ Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t. - Do cats make less noise?
→ Yes, they do.
- Are cats better pets than dogs?

Bài 1: Chọn dạng đúng của tính từ để hoàn thành câu
- Cats are (quiet/quieter) than dogs.
- Dogs are (loyal/more loyal) than cats.

Đáp án & Giải thích:
- quieter – Tính từ ngắn → thêm “-er”
- more loyal – “Loyal” là tính từ dài → dùng “more”

- messier – “Messy” → bỏ y + ier
- more friendly – Có thể dùng cả “friendlier” và “more friendly”; ở trình độ A2 nên dùng “more friendly”
