1. Modals:

– We use should to ask for and give advice. (Chúng ta sử dụng “should” để hỏi và đưa lời khuyên)

– We use can to talk about possibility. (Chúng ta sử dụng “can” để nói về khả năng.)

– We often use can’t for things that are very unsafe to do. (Chúng ta sử dụng “can’t” cho những thứ rất an toàn / đảm bảo để làm)

Chủ ngữ: I / You / We / They / He / She / It

Should (nên):

• You should go to Greenwater Cave.
• You shouldn’t go hiking there.

Can (có thể/không thể):

• We can go kayaking.
• We can’t swim in that water.

Hỏi – đáp ngắn:

• Should I travel there? → Yes, you should. / No, you shouldn’t.
• Can we swim there? → Yes, we can. / No, we can’t.

2. Conjunction: “so”

– We use “so” to show a result of something. (Chúng ta sử dụng “so” để cho thấy kết quả của thứ gì đó)

I had a cold so I didn’t go to school.

We are going kayaking so you need to bring a towel..
