B. NGỮ PHÁP (GRAMMAR)
1. Câu điều kiện loại 1 (First Conditional with “if” and “unless”)
- Cấu trúc:
- If + S + V (hiện tại đơn), S + will + V-inf
- Unless + S + V (hiện tại đơn), S + will + V-inf
- Cách dùng:
- Diễn tả một tình huống có thể xảy ra trong tương lai và kết quả của nó.
- “Unless” = “If not”
- Ví dụ:
- If we don’t act now, the planet will suffer.
- Unless she studies hard, she won’t pass the exam.
2. Might vs Will
- Will:
- Dùng để nói về một điều chắc chắn hoặc có độ tin cậy cao sẽ xảy ra.
- Ví dụ: People will use robots in the future.
- Might:
- Dùng để nói về khả năng có thể xảy ra, nhưng không chắc chắn.
- Ví dụ: Scientists might discover a cure for cancer.
- So sánh:
- will = chắc chắn hơn, might = ít chắc chắn hơn.
