1. Countable and uncountable nouns:

– We can count countable nouns. Use a before singular nouns beginning with consonant sounds and an before vowel sounds. (Chúng ta sử dụng danh từ đếm được. Sử dụng “a” trước anhd từ số ít bắt đầu với phụ âm và “an” trước nguyên âm.)

e.g: I’d like a cookie.

       I’d like an apple.

– We cannot count uncountable nouns. Use some with uncountable nouns and plural countable nouns. (Chúng ta không thể đếm danh từ số nhiều không đếm được. Sử dụng “some” với danh từ không đếm được và danh từ đếm được số nhiều)

E.g: I’d like some milk.

        Would you like some dessert?

– We can use any with uncountable nouns and plural countable nouns, for questions and negative answers. (Chúng ta sử dụng “any” với danh từ số nhiều không đếm được và danh từ số nhiều đếm được cho câu hỏi và câu phủ định).

E.g: I’m sorry. We don’t have any  milk left.

        Do you have any chocolate cake?

There are many popular dishes in Vietnam and you will find rice or noodles in most of them. Phở is a famous noodle soup dish from Vietnam. People make it with chicken or beef. They put onions and herbs in it. It smells and tastes wonderful.

Another amazing dish is cơm tấm. It is a rice dish with grilled pork and fried eggs. People often eat it with fish sauce on top. I love eating it for breakfast. It is delicious! Food in Vietnam is popular all over the world.
