1. Using “and” / “or” for listing:
– We use and to join two or more nouns in a positive sentence. We use or to join two or more nouns in a negative sentence. (Chúng ta sử dụng và để nối 2 hoặc nhiều danh từ ở dạng câu tích cực. Chúng ta sử dụng hoặc để nối hay hoặc nhiều danh từ ở dạng câu tiêu cực.)
Ex: I like math and biology.
I like math, biology, and music.
I don’t like math or biology.
I don’t like math, biology, or music.
2. Possessive pronouns “mine” and “yours”
– We use mine or yours so we don’t say the same words (e.g …. your favorite subject) again. (chúng ta sử dụng của tôi hoặc của bạn để tránh viết lặp lại từ) (e.g: My favorite subject’s physics. What’s yours? Mine’s English.)
